This was named for a little neighborhood in Carmel, Indiana.

How about this block? As far as I know, it is the only 5-patch block
in the quilt. I took the liberty of adding sashing for the convenience
of rotary cutting measurements. K-1 and K-2 were one of my first clues
that all of Jane’s blocks were not the same size. Just look at the two
of them side-by-side! So, while drafted for rotary cutting, how would
I do this block now? Why, print that foundation pattern and go!

本に載っている写真にはサッシュがないのに、型紙にはあったので、どうしてだろうと思っていましたが、上記文章を読んで、キルトから製図を起こすのにもいろんな苦労があるんだということがわかりました。
